Without certified referees our program cannot run. Without certified referees we cannot support youth player development and love of the game. We need more certified referees.
We need you!
To encourage greater participation of HUYS players/alumni and high school age students who reside in Hull (not required to attend HHS), the Board of Directors established the Referee Recruitment Program as outlined below:
- Successfully complete the “Referee Grade 8 Entry Level Course.” To do this, the candidate must be at least 14 years of age, complete online course study prior to the course, attend eight hours of classroom instruction, and pass a 50-question written test
- Upon successful completion of the Referee certification program HUYS will reimburse the purchase of your Referee kit (up to $80)
- Once 10 HUYS games have been refereed, HUYS will reimburse the cost of the Referee Certification Program (up to $115)
- For reimbursement, submit a copy of your Referee kit receipt to Hull United Youth Soccer, Attn. Treasurer, PO BOX 237, Hull MA 02045 (or scan it to [email protected]).
- Similarly, after 10 games have been refereed, submit a request for reimbursement with a copy of your certification program receipt.
