It is with a HEAVY HEART that we communicate the cancellation of our spring travel & in-town seasons.  With the ongoing pandemic and related efforts to flatten the curve (stay at home, social distancing, school cancellations and field closures), all youth soccer programs across the south shore (we belong to the Coastal Youth Soccer League) are doing likewise.  Above all the safety of our players and their families are our first priority. 

In response to this never seen before public health crisis we have had to work through never seen before challenges.  After much deliberation, the HUYS Board has determined that all current players will receive a credit towards next year’s registration representing 50% of what they paid for the 2019/2020 season.  These credits will be applied in the form of a coupon code that will be emailed to you directly and can be entered into Blue Sombrero during registration.  Specifically:

• Travel registrations who qualified for last year’s Early Bird discount will have a coupon credit of $82.50, and regular registrations will be $102.50.
• In-Town registrations who qualified for last year’s Early Bird discount will have a coupon credit of $50, and regular registration will be $60.

For 8^th grade players ONLY, we will refund 50% of their payment for the 2019/2020 season.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through this event in a way that maintains the viability of our program, and ensures our children have an opportunity (hopefully soon) to retake the field with friends and family.

In spite of the challenges we currently face, we must move forward in a way that assumes there will a better future, one that includes youth soccer!  While we will obviously make adjustments as needed when the time comes, we need to follow our normal registration process to ensure our program can field viable teams in the fall (as part of CYSL). 

With this in mind, ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN through the Blue Sombrero platform [https://www.hullyouthsoccer.com/hullsoccerma] with an EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT for Travel and In-Town registrations.  You may use your login credentials from last year, and please SHARE this information with families who may not be aware of our soccer program:

• $40 DISCOUNT FOR All PAID TRAVEL REGISTRATIONS through June 1
• $20 DISCOUNT FOR ALL PAID IN-TOWN REGISTRATIONS through June 15
• FINAL DEADLINE FOR TRAVEL REGISTRATION IS JUNE 15
• Evaluations for grade 5/6 & 7/8, as needed, will take place on June 17 (boys) & June 18 (girls)

**NEW TRAVEL KIT**:  Although the timing is less than ideal, we have reached the end of the production run (of 5 years) for our current travel uniforms.  As such, ALL travel players (new & returning) will need to order a new kit (shirt & shorts).  On the upside, the quality of the new uniform is a vast improvement, and the process our new vendor uses means we are no longer be subject to arbitrary ‘5-year production runs’ of a particular uniform pattern.  The cost of the new kit is expected to be around $55, and additional details will be sent to all travel players once we get past the June 15 deadline for final registration.
